Livtar Llyn is a yoga teacher and trainer for both adults and children alike.
Originally trained as a school teacher, she worked in education for her whole career as teacher, headteacher, adviser and CEO; working in challenging schools in deprived areas; working to turn around schools to ensure that the children were receiving the best and most creative education possible - this included ensuring that all children were taught yoga as part of the curriculum, in order to support their lives. As children’s yoga teacher herself, she trained staff in simple yoga techniques to support their children and also taught the children herself on a regular basis - as well as running family workshops for the parents and children.
The parents and staff loved this approach and ended up asking Llyn to teach them as well, so that they too could benefit. Already practising Kundalini and Hatha yoga herself, she decided to undertake her teacher training at i-SKY - primarily to support the adults at her schools, but she ended up loving it so much that when her i-SKY course ended she never actually left! Initially she stayed as an aide to help in the kitchen, then became an intern and progressed through the Academy, relishing every moment of learning - what a joy and a privilege!
Livtar Llyn's passions in life, in no particular order, are learning, teaching, children, reading, nutrition, cooking, dancing, travelling and posture work. She is also a qualified Hatha yoga teacher, nutritional therapist and is currently studying KundaliniMedicine (Yoga Therapy Training with Guru Dharam).
