End of an Era (September 2013)
Hello All,
This is the final newsletter from the past era that is being sent to you today. The intention is to unite and honour the past and to acknowledge the completion of a life chapter. Finally enabling us to surrender in trust to what the future is to hold for each one of us as we birth another stage. Each and all now as ready as we can be to meet the unknown, as it is about to make its entry into our space. Finally the time for us to centre ourselves right here and now on this the completion of this years harvest, the Autumn equinox.
On this occasion we do not only refer to this years work, it is also the fulmination of projects that have spanned years. One of the things that I have valued most in my life is being involved in the upbringing of my four children. Eileen Caddy a founder of the Findhorn Community when describing love said: ‘You can help a soul fare well by turning them within, so he learns to help himself and do his own seeking than by handing him answers to his problems on a silver platter. Let him do his own searching; let him stand on his own feet. It is of far greater help to a child when you let that child makes its own decisions even if they may not always be right, at least he will learn to grow and stand on his own feet instead of always relying on someone else. It is not easy to take your hands right off and see someone make what you feel is a wrong decision, but you must learn to do it to help that soul to grow. Gently take away the outer props until he stands straight and strong by himself seeking deep within for everything. That is love, to love enough to help another to grow in stature by turning them to the source of all power, which can be found in every soul deep within. (for he read him and her, he and she). I was gifted the care of two boys and two girls whose presentations could easily represent north, south, east and west each having a unique personality. All learned to co-exist and they taught me to love in a detached manner that enabled equality, respect and freedom for all, yet at the same time having the capacity to focus on the situation that proved itself to be the most important within the moment. In early adulthood my eldest son once said to me “why don’t you trust your upbringing of us and get off the case?‘ Time to move on like it or not!
My old boss said to me when child bearing was over for me ‘now you can be of use to those being born to more profound spiritual awareness within life,‘ It is the external representation of what you have done within your family. I was deeply unimpressed at the time! Through circumstance Second Aid was born and for many years people who were suddenly being made aware of their spirituality, and their mortality within life events were supported and advised until they too, were able to take adult responsibility and stand on their own feet with renewed vigour These were not people who chose to awaken through prolonged study they were the section of the community in which life events had forced the issue. Hopefully I did a good enough job with my family to then be gifted a part in that larger community family. The community, just like the family are now ‘grown’ enough to make their own way. Some of these people I am in awe of and grateful to be in contact with, and honoured to have been a part of their lives. Some have moved on to follow other regimes and I wish them well. Another done deal as a result of which everything has to be acknowledged and freed. Some things now being dropped may pick up again and represent on in a revised form.
I still enjoy speaking to those now undertaking collective responsibility and as a result they need to compare notes as they create new administrations in as inclusive a manner as possible, they are intent on working with the best interests of the majority as well as they are able. Some need to discuss handling those who do not appear to be working in the interests of their collective and they need to decide what to do about rebels, revolutionaries, dictators and those desiring fame or those who are just plain greedy. Assessment of resources always a problem! And then there are the difficulties caused by immature reactions that are provoked by certain behaviours Some of which are sought after, others to be avoided if at all possible both by colleagues and peers. A good rule of thumb is not to fuel the war, nor to run away. Many are having to learn to wise up in a hurry now. As we mature we have to learn to deal with each situation in as harmless a manner as we are able. We are only as good as the work we have done on ourselves whatever our skill area.
A year ago my old friends and colleagues (old being a statement of the time we have known each other, not age)! Guru Dharam Singh and Darryl O’Keeffe came to visit me and asked me to become a director of their company. At their annual conference in 2012 certain issues were illustrated that had to be urgently addressed especially as the kundalini yoga taught translates as the yoga of union. Vertically this is spirit to soul initially, if that is achieved then a second stage is undergone where soul purpose is translated into life on Earth as we know as it and discrepancies are uncovered. The third stage is when eventually the earth life is offered back to spirit. Now the circuitry is free flowing, smooth and made fully operational as a result a state of continuous consciousness. Not all reach these stages.
Returning to the annual event, what we thought we were going to do on this day was wiped right out of the water due to volatile and unsettled client input and claims. Time to take a long and serious retreat and to revisit our past experiences so as to create a future freed from ancient pollution. Subtle energy must be anchored to the earth free of the old toxins of personal history, environmental pollution and toxins. The masculine doing and the feminine within us must negotiate and find new balance within each one of us to enable us to be freed and all on the same side regardless of our external sexual identity. So we withdrew and kept a low profile to enable us to find out what was needed within the revising collective in the coming phase of operation. Meditation and many discussions followed as to how to organise what is now required by us all.
The horizontal arm of this union is reflected within the cross of service, the equal four armed cross. It requires us to lay our past to rest free of resentment and bitterness at the learning we needed to undergo to achieve it. Nor are we able to escape into projected futures of our imagining we are just being centred in the here and now and only when we are content to serve in anyway that we are called next can we proceed. So there have been many discussions between the three of us trying to see that we were all walking our talk rather than just talking about it! One of the nice things about colleagues is that they call you on anything they do not understand or agree with, and negotiations go on until a new win win compromise is agreed by all. There was no doubt we all needed to be squeaky clean and regain good humour and a sense of humour if we were to work as an energetic triangle from now on. All of us were tired after a long spell of serving in the positions we had been assigned in the past transition. And we had to check there was no ambition, greed, or that any had a desire to be el supremo. We had to try to ensure no-one was shoved around or got out of the way so that others got the kudos or the fame and that there were no residual competitive traits in any. We must only complement one another. To do that we have to have the willingness to move beyond old learning, and to reassess our skills and strengthen our foundation until we were proved to be working on rock rather than some of the quicksands of the past. We knew we’d done ‘well enough’ and given ‘good enough’ service as individuals as we were all still sought after and working! What we didn’t know was if we could honour and compliment each other rather than argue or ignore the needs of one in favour of another. There could be no room for self-interest if we were to create an energetic framework that could be of use to others.
Now we know once again that we have retained our friendship as well! Not only have we had a huge administrative overhaul (more than once)! We've centralised organisational needs as well as still having the willingness to work in our own skill area but to acknowledge each others unique skills as well. Through this ‘mix and match’ service ability we aim to improve customer care and safeguard all of us. As friends as well as colleagues we were able to challenge each other with good humour to ‘call’ each other when one was not making sense as well as appreciating each others skills proven through demonstration and time. Now we believe we have a great service to offer onto others. The MU don’t care if we are liked, they only care that we are able to reach people and that we are truthful, effective and able to transfer and pass on their information without personal censorship creeping in or any selling out to popularity. It is not a path for wimps and it requires a long arduous apprenticeship before each placement is made. The harvest of all work to date is now being gathered in and simultaneously we start to plant new seeds, it will be interesting to watch the new crop grow. There will be some who fall by the wayside, only those who have proved their selfless service to others will be passed, others will repeat that service until their motivation is pure and establishes itself in life.
We will need to work as a part of various teams in times to come, and now all start to observe some people being ‘called’ and informed what is next on their agenda. When or if we get carried away with our own enthusiasm we get checked by others. We need to respect the people who have been placed in positions senior to our own for they have demonstrated a track record of service through years, this is true at all levels of being. Now they have new tests and so the cycle starts over again but with different challenges. It is a bonus if we like the message bearers we have been issued, it is not a prerequisite that we do! Others in our chosen or assigned triangles will observe different things and offer fresh perspectives. Past eras stand alone and they now need to be left behind although their essence will live on and be used as a reference points to whoever they serve. As we move on what we have achieved is documented for us. www.secondaid.com is a testament to all those who worked so hard in the past. Now www.i-sky.net illustrates a broader framework offering a more comprehensive menu. And none of us know what else will be modified and presented as a result as we move on once again. Perhaps those from our past will be in touch or even incorporated or perhaps they will be assigned elsewhere regardless we wish all well. We lay energetic plans as best we are able and then we wait and see if they are supported or not and whether or not we are a part of new endeavours as we anticipated we might be or not. Led by desire we trust the process and try to remain detached and unattached to outcome as the transition occurs. Only when we make the effort are we shown how to proceed and plans and personnel are adapted and modified as we move onwards, some are over-lighted from the subtle realms and if or when that occurs events move fast. New explorations and new adventures are now to be had by one and all. Past failure as we have classified them to be on occasion have allowed us to learn and potentially enjoy future successes. What more can we ask as we examine who we are now, and then let go of who we once were, all the time retaining good humour and a good attitude - as much as we are able to.
With every good wish to one and all. As we awaken to our inner spirituality to a more profound degree, we have a life of separation i.e. our spiritual life and our everyday life. It is life to strangers meeting. Work is done until the two become as one and a sacred union occurs, only at that time do we get the opportunity to unite with others who have done as well in their area as we have in ours. If we are intent on achieving the same sort of objectives and we come together with others who have a common purpose and a different presentation of skills. The past and the future is all being sorted out within the miracle that is our body the vehicle of operation for the present time. There has been a lot of malaise as our body (be it the intellectual, emotional and or physical) as it releases that which is no longer required and this process has to be honoured. Between now and the winter solstice it is the time to move on in trust, and in acceptance as we let go and allow ourselves to be led with light and in love to what comes next for each one of us. The time for endless conversation now giving way to a truer form of communication and awareness. Thank you for being a part of the last chapter within my journey and for allowing me to be a part of yours.
