K1 internationally Certified Foundation Level 1 teacher training in Kundalini Yoga

The i-SKY K1 training course is a comprehensive 225+ hour Kundalini Yoga teacher training course comprising 25 in-person days and a minimum of 10 days home study/practice.

i-SKY offered the first internationally certified Kundalini Yoga Instructors course in the UK (1995), as popularised in the West by Yogi Bhajan, and for 30 years worked with the Kundalini Research Institute (USA) certifying students to the Yoga Alliance (USA) standards.

Since 2018 i-SKY have actively supported Yoga Alliance Professionals (UK) in their international mission to raise the standards of yoga teaching and training worldwide. i-SKY courses, students and teachers are registered with yogaallianceprofessionals.org meeting an internationally recognised standard applied across all yogic traditions.

This  course comprises is led by a international team of experienced LeadTrainers/SeniorYogaTeachers:  Guru Dharam (Sweden), Livtar Llyn (UK), Darryl O'Keeffe (UK). 

The course includes:

• How to use breath, posture, sound, and meditation to awaken & train the mind & body. 
• Kundalini and Yogic philosophy. 
• Yogic and Western Anatomy;
• Developing a clear calm meditative mind 
• Utilising mantra and sacred sound
• Developing a daily yoga practice;
• Following a yogic lifestyle;
• Teaching Kundalini Yoga.
• The ethics, role and conduct of a teacher.

Certification Requirements:

• Attendance and participation in all sessions
• Timely payment of all course fees
• Satisfactory teaching practice assessment
• Passing grade in any oral, written or practical exam
• Attendance of Kundalini Yoga classes outside the course
• Creation of at least two yoga class curricula
• Completion of at least two assigned 40-day yoga kriya 
• Satisfactory completion of all coursework requirements
• Submission of course and trainer evaluations as requested.
• Upholding an approved yogic Code of Ethics/Practice
