THE FORK IN THE ROAD

Posted in Judy Fraser passed away Christmas 2018, quietly, at home with her family. She will be much missed by many.

We are meeting a fork in the road, both individually and collectively. One fork leads to self-destruction, misery, despair and hopelessness.  The other to a deeper connection with the inter dimensional or spiritual nature.  The roads merge again in the fullness of time and then they are able to unite in common purpose. The big decision is which fork holds the priority position for us. Is it the pursuit of our soul path, or material self-interest?  Do we work in the long term interests of the groups to whom we are attached or put ourselves first and foremost.  Are we a part of the cast of the team or insisting on the starring role on all occasions?
There is a shift taking place in the magnetic field of the Earth, as well as in the patterns we observe in the weather, we are seeing whales, dolphins, birds etc losing their way as they try to follow old pathways that are no longer active; or conversely use new ones which are not quite fully operational as yet.  In people we may observe this experience as short-term memory ‘blanks’ or cognitive sequencing problems.  During the transition we can observe in ourselves and in others irrational behavior, desperation or feelings of hopelessness. At these times we display an inability to function in practical ways, as a result escapism can prove the easy option.
This is not an either or proposition. As we try to raise standards we may surprise ourselves by behaving in ways that are destructive to us in spite of our self knowledge.  Our reality can oscillate when not properly linked to our spiritual self via our soul.  And, we must be as well anchored in trust, simplicity, acceptance and inner security on the Earth.  The changes we are experiencing are at warp speed after a long period of ‘slog’ when nothing much seems to be happening,  and on occasion our biological organism is unable to keep up.  As a result we have to slow down (or be slowed down) to enable our biological organisms to handle the changes.   Only by knowing when to speed up and slow down will we avoid the self-destructive ‘madness’.  As we move on to experience new chapters of living so to speak, are we able to seek higher standards? If we have been successful in our life learning to date we may well loose interest in what we may have been doing over a long period of time up until now.  We have to face the chasm where we don’t know as yet what we want or why but we need to proceed into new experiences anyway!  Time to take the essence on and release all else to make the room to see what options are on offer now.
Our opinions are only points of view brought to the Earth with us from previous encounters passed down through heredity,  or collected from environmental experiences in our own past.  Now it is the time to decide which opinions we should keep and which are well founded. Those that are not can be changed or released.   Are our opinions valid now?  Or do they come as a justification of our shortcomings?  if we justify our viewpoints as perfect, apparently objective reasoning, it is largely our least noble aspirations that prompted us to adopt that certain outlook on life.  Time to release dogma and become more tolerant.  If we raise our standards to higher aspirations, our  points of view are different and our attitude improves as it becomes more tolerant, compassionate and inclusive.
We must live in truth and trust, as we attempt to maintain authentic contact with our inter-dimensional spiritual natures.  It can feel like we’ve lost connection with our old teachers and although we can sense new ones we can’t connect with them in the way we have been familiar with to date.  We go through a period of testing although we don’t know what we’re being tested for!  It is like our report cards from the old stage have been passed on, but the new teachers want to check certain aspects for themselves and not go on here-say or what has been passed on.  We can experience apathy and fatigue at these times.  Time to let go and let The Management manage.  Watch a movie, read a book, sleep as much as possible, and let go of ambition or a need to succeed.  We will find out soon enough what comes next.  Meanwhile we must be as authentic as we are able to be within our spiritual intentions and be fully present on the Earth, this is how self-renewal arises and holds us during our transition.
The truth is, we need to harmonize and unite with all that is.  Letting go of and balancing the need to  ‘be right’ or demanding to ‘be happy’ in all   life situations. Most things of greatness in our life happened because we were able to put aside the “being happy” thing for a while and instead follow the path of what we considered the right way to go, regardless of whether it made us happy in the moment or not.   Long term contentment usually comes from trying to do the ‘right’ thing for all, us included.  It can also be described as unselfishness leading to the contentment of knowing we have worked to the best of our ability and in the interests of all (us included).  Happiness, romance, comfort, pleasure cannot be forced in the short term and we can’t  avoid the things that challenge us or that that may be hard or uncomfortable. We accept the easy and fun why can’t we hold that attitude in the tougher times too?  We can ask in meditation that we align ourselves at all levels with that which is good and true and will work in the interests of all.  Then we live simply with as much respect for all forms of life as we dare to care!
